January 2020 At Strive Academy

Welcome to the new year at Strive Academy! We are beyond excited to announce all the updates to our growing academy! First of all we have been tremendously blessed to partner up with the great people at Robinson’s Taekwondo in Galt to bring our same brand of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to all our neighbors in Galt! This is our first affiliate program and we are really thrilled to be working with some amazing martial artists there. For members in Lodi here’s what you can expect from this exciting addition: Kids classes will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-5pm. Our Lodi students are also welcome to come to these classes instead on those days - this is a great chance for kids who want to train on Thursdays but aren’t ready or interested in the competition class! Adult classes (begin 1/21) will be from 5:15-6:15pm on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. This will be a fundamentals class, perfect for both completely new practitioners or people looking to keep the fundamentals of self defense fresh! Wrestling at the home Lodi location will be hosting some amazing guest instructors and we could not be more excited to brush up on our stand up with these talented athletes! Stay tuned for more info! We have also added a 7am adults Gi Fundamentals class at Strive headquarters - Tuesdays and Thursdays come in and start your day off right with good people and good rolls (We will take opinions on if we need some coffee offerings at the academy - sound off!) We have A LOT more going on in the next couple months - all big things to add to the program (think strength,conditioning and flexibility!) But for now we will leave you with one more announcement: We will be adding a women’s self defense class to the schedule in Lodi full time! This class will meet once a week and focus strictly on real life application of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as a self defense system. This will be a women’s only class and we are very excited to be able to offer it to the community as soon as possible.
